Tax Seminars

This well-known seminar, taught by Jan Zobel, is held at various times and locations during the year. It's generally offered in a one-day session or over the course of two evenings. Jan has been teaching this seminar for more than 20 years but approaches each class with new enthusiasm. The seminar is designed for self-employed people, particularly one-person bus-inesses such as graphic artists, consultants, and psychotherapists. It is also appropriate for craftspeople, retail sellers, and independent contractors. The focus is on sole proprietors but business partnerships and LLCs will find it valuable as well. The class is not as appropriate for entrepreneurs operating as corporations.

Tuition for the seminar varies, depending upon the sponsor, and is deductible to the extent allowed by law. Participants receive a 22 page syllabus that is helpful even after the class is over. In addition, numerous free IRS publications are distributed at the seminar.
